| May 12 | The Sea-Watch 5 crew rescued 65 people, many suffering from hypothermia.
The Ocean Viking rescued 75 people from an overcrowded boat, following an Alarm Phone alert. The case was spotted by Sea Bird. Survivors reportedly spent five days and four nights at sea. |
| May 13 | The Ocean Viking crew rescued 56 people from an overcrowded white fiberglass boat in distress in the Libyan SRR. One person was found not breathing and brought on board,where the medical team provided emergency medical care. Sadly, shortly after he was declared dead.
Sea Watch 5 continued its operations and rescued another 13 people out of distress. |
